Steps In The Production Of Bush Craft Furnishings

STEP 1:
Is determining what the client wants and producing a plan to build the piece. The plan will include dimensions such as height width and depth. A list of materials such as type of wood and/or metal to be used in construction.

STEP 2:
A moveable frame had to be precisely constructed to carry the weight of the thick carved oak panels. The panels were then mounted onto the frame and hidden lock-able rollers were installed on the bottom of the frame.

STEP 3:
The panels of seasoned oak were carefully measured and cut at specified angles to cover the frame totally.

STEP 4:
As always, we sprayed two coats of natural oil as a finish and included two coats of hand rubbed beeswax to complete the finish.

STEP 5:
The finished piece is delivered and set up ready for use. And adjustments are made to insure the satisfaction of the client.
