NATURALLY FELLED TIMBERS: Only naturally felled and recycled timbers are used. These logs have cured through natures own drying process. Vintage trees usually gray when slabbed, reveal beautiful patterns of earthen chestnut brown and dark waves of the black walnut tree to the golden ripple grain of the european elm. Preston seeks to visualize the beauty of every knot, twist and characteristic of each slab by hand hewing each piece. |
